FORTUNE 100 Company Under Lease to 2011

NORCROSS, Ga. (June 12, 2007) -- Wells Real Estate Investment Trust today announced the sale of the Caterpillar Inc. warehouse facility near Greenville, S.C., to HRPT Properties Trust.

Terms were not announced. The 168,000-square-foot office/warehouse property at 111 Southchase Blvd. in Fountain Inn, was built in 1987, and acquired by a joint venture led by Wells REIT in 1999. Caterpillar last year signed a lease until 2011.

The sellers were assisted by Rob Cochran of Colliers Pinkard in Charlotte, N.C., and Givens Stewart of Colliers Keenan in Greenville.
